Human Resources Manager

Answering directly to the CEO, you will provide operational and strategic advice and support to the CEO and line managers on a diverse range of human resource management services.  The person we are looking for will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources management, business, organisational psychology or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational development, human resource management, industrial relations matters and occupational health and safety management
  • High level ability to communicate, consult, and negotiate with staff at all levels and with external parties
  • Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with others

Outbound Sales Manager

2011 is already shaping up to be one of our most entertaining and successful seasons ever and we are currently searching for articulate lovers of the performing arts with a real passion for sales to join our amazing team.

To help manage our outbound sales environment we are looking for a suitably experienced manager to coordinate, motivate and continue to drive an exceptional team of 6 part time consultants.

You will most likely have telephone experience with inbound or outbound sales in a highly energised environment.

An interest in classical music, while by no means mandatory, is desirable.  More important is your ability to grasp knowledge and articulate the value of our brand and product.

Outbound Sales Consultants

QSO is looking for part time outbound sales people to help promote our best season ever!  We need experienced, friendly, lovers of the performing arts with a real passion for sales to join our amazing team.
 
To be successful in your application you must be able to work 20 hours per week 4-8pm Tuesday to Friday and Saturdays 10-2pm from October 4 until the end of the year.
 
Ideally you will have telephone experience with inbound or outbound sales in a highly energised environment.

Production Assistant

  • Attracted to supporting QSO's production team during a period of exciting change?
  • 12 month contract


Are you passionate about production? Do you want to be part of a vibrant team of people that put Queensland's professional orchestra on stage 100 times a year? QSO is interested in you.

Got your attention?  Then come on board as we prepare your state orchestra's move.

Responsible to the Production Manager, you will provide effective logistical and production support for the QSO, including supervision of instrument and equipment setup and transport requirements and crewing

The person we are looking for will:

  • Have experience in staging and production crewing in the performing arts/ commercial theatre industry
  • Have knowledge of basic elements of staging and production and some knowledge of musical instrument maintenance requirements
  • Be competent in small workshops tasks and carpentry
  • Hold a current "C" Class Driver's Licence
