Ferry Road Studios
Location
Queensland Symphony Orchestra Ferry Road Studios are located at 53 Ferry Road, West End, off Montague Road. Offering a beautiful view of the Brisbane River, these studios are the home of the Orchestra.
Parking
Free onsite parking is available for concerts held at the studio.
Bus
The 192 bus stops on Montague Road, near the intersection of Ferry Road. Buses depart from Creek St and Ann St in the City and the Cultural Centre Busway at South Bank. This is a limited service that runs approximately every hour between 7.30am-9am and 3.30pm-6pm.
The 199 bus operates more frequently and stops on Hardgrave Rd and terminates at the West End ferry. It is a 15 minute walk from here to the Ferry Road Studio.
The CityGlider is the highest
frequency bus service in Brisbane and it stops on Montague Road, near
the intersection of Cordeaux
Street. It runs every five minutes in peak periods
and every 10 to 15 minutes off-peak. CityGlider is a pre-paid service and
currently the only service to offer rear door boarding. Passengers must have a
go card or valid paper ticket
(single, daily, weekly or monthly) prior to boarding this service.
CityGlider connects with other
TransLink services at: the Cultural Centre busway station, West End and
Teneriffe ferry terminals, train services at South Brisbane, Central and
Fortitude
Valley.
Ferry
The West End CityCat terminal is located 700 metres from the studio, a pleasant 10-15 minute walk along the river. The CityCat generally runs every 20-30 minutes, more frequently on weekends.

Seating
The studio is general admission for all its performances and open rehearsals - first in, best dressed! Some of the seating at Kiddies Cushion Concerts is floor space so please bring your own cushion but no prams are permitted in the studio. Wheelchair seating is set aside at each concert.
