Queensland Conservatorium of Music Singers

The QCGU Chorus comprises undergraduate and postgraduate students of classical voice.

In recent years, members of this ensemble have performed several major choral works including Beethoven’s 9th Symphony (2019), Mahler’s Symphony No.8 (2018), both conducted by Johannes Fritzsch, as well as Haydn’s Nelson Mass (2018) and Vaughan-William’s Dona Nobis Pacem (2019) conducted by Robert Stewart. In 2018, the QCGU Chorus also collaborated with members of Opera Queensland chorus in a performance of Peter Grimes for Brisbane Festival, and subsequently in Verdi’s Requiem, as part of the 2019 Bleach Festival, Gold Coast.
