Explore the instruments of the Orchestra in this vibrant, colourful and exciting work by Benjamin Britten. Come on a journey through the families of the orchestra and learn about sounds, timbre and music from the Baroque to contemporary eras of music in this unique series of variations based on a theme by Henry Purcell. This concert will also feature a performance from the winner of the 2020 Young Instrumentalist Prize.
