Beethoven 5

Beethoven 5

Many of you have been asking us to showcase the glorious pipe organ in the QPAC Concert Hall and we’ve heard you!

Organist Joseph Nolan, described by Limelight magazine as a ‘Colossus’, will rouse audiences with a rare outing of Poulenc’s highly enjoyable Organ Concerto.

As if that wasn’t enough, we’re out to fire everyone’s blood with Richard Strauss’ action-packed tone poem, Don Juan, topped off with the fiery brilliance of Beethoven’s one and only Fifth Symphony.

"Great conductors are an integral part of an artistically fulfilling performance. I look forward to Daniel Blendulf bringing Don Juan and Beethoven's Fifth to the highest level of orchestral excellence."

Dušan Walkowicz, associate principal double bass
