Concert Hall, QPAC

Breathtaking Tchaikovsky

#PERFORMANCE UPDATE

We have been so looking forward to the performances of Breathtaking Tchaikovsky on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 August, but in line with the recent announcement regarding Brisbane's current lockdown we have had to postpone these performances.

We are still keen to bring you the power of Tchaikovsky in this incredible concert and we are working to see if we can find an alternative date for this concert.

As a current ticket holder, you will be notified of the new dates once we have them confirmed, so for now, you do not need to do anything. We will be able to transfer your tickets over to the new dates once a decision is made.

If you aren't able to attend the new dates, there will be an opportunity for a refund. Thank you for your understanding as we work through this challenging time.

If you have any queries, please get in touch with our friendly Box Office team.

Nine days before the great Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky passed away, he premiered his last great symphony – the Symphony No.6.

It is known as the ‘Passionate’ symphony in Russian or the rather more tragic ‘Pathétique’ in French.

Conducted by QSO Conductor Laureate Johannes Fritzsch, this will be an unforgettable experience to introduce young minds to the mastery of Tchaikovsky.
