QSO Co-Commissioned premiere!

What better demonstration of QSO’s relationship with the world’s most famous living composer, than to participate in this premiere performance of his Symphony No.11, in partnership with orchestras in Austria and Turkey, directly after the first performance in New York.

This night of firsts, led by QSO Music Director Alondra de la Parra, includes the Australian debut of the phenomenal Russian wunderkind, Alexander Malofeev.

Watch and listen, as he performs the great Romantic warhorse of the Russian piano repertory, Rachmaninov's Second Piano concerto.
