This fascinating concert will illustrate how different composers chose to reflect on night time through music.

Join the Orchestra as we take a nocturnal stroll through music of the night, including the arias of Mozart’s famous (and furious) Queen of the Night, excerpts from Sondheim’s playful musical A Little Night Music, Dvorák’s quiet Nocturne and Debussy’s masterwork with French colours of the night.

Mussorgsky Night on Bald Mountain
Berlioz Selections from Les nuits d’été
Blodek The Rising of the Moon from In the Well
Debussy Fêtes from Nocturnes
Vivaldi Flute Concerto La Notte RV439 G Minor
Mozart Serenade K.525 Eine kleine Nachtmusik
Dvořák Nocturne
Fibich At Twilight
Humperdinck Slumber Song from Hansel and Gretel
Mozart Selections from The Magic Flute
