Jay Laga’aia and Queensland Symphony Orchestra set to celebrate with a Ho Ho whole lot of fun at the Symphonic Santa concerts!
It is Queensland’s much loved yuletide concert, when the Queensland Symphony Orchestra don Christmas colours and tinsel, and perform a wonderful musical tribute to all things festive. This year the Symphonic Santa concerts will star popular children’s TV presenter, Play School’s Jay Laga’aia across two days of double matinees, Friday 2 – Saturday 3 December.
The kiddies cushion concert sing-along series of favourite tunes with all the trimmings and a Ho! Ho! whole lot of fun. Concert goers can expect to jump, jive and jingle to a mix of Christmas carols and festive favourites including Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Feliz Navidad and more.

About Jay Laga’aia
Jay Laga’aia is one of Australia’s most recognised faces having starred in an extraordinary number of films, TV programs and stage productions. One of the most popular hosts of Play School, he also currently appears in an Australian Children’s TV Series called Jay’s Jungle which has been broadcast since 2015. He has starred in many of Australia’s favourite TV programs including Home and Away, ABC TV’s Bed of Roses, Water Rats and McLeod’s Daughters. Jay is also known internationally from his roles in Xena Warrior Princess and Legend of the Seeker. Jay’s film credits are similarly impressive including Star Wars Episodes II and III, Nims Island and Daybreakers. He also played the role of Mufasa in the stage production of The Lion King and wrote and directed his own children’s show Jay’s Place, which was awarded the 2007 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Production for Children.
