Join us for an end of season spectacular.

The Brahms Violin Concerto is one of the most astonishing works for violin and orchestra ever composed. In a spectacular 45 minutes, the violin runs through a full gamut of emotions: it snarls like an aggravated animal, it sings like an angel, it marches like a military band on parade. In the hands of a good violinist and orchestra, it’s brilliant. In the hands of Barnabás Kelemen with Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Alondra de la Parra, this show-stopper will come to life.

Also in the performance, de la Parra will perform the Dutilleux’s Métaboles, a complex showcase for orchestra based around the idea of change. The concert finishes with the exhilarating sounds of Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé, a masterpiece of music from the days of French Impressionism. It’s going to be a full-blooded performance featuring the might of Queensland Symphony Orchestra and The Australian Voices.

Let Yourself Go with unbelievable playing, diverse music and a rich emotional journey.
