A message of thanks from
Chris Freeman AM, Chair

On behalf of our Musicians, our Management and Staff and the Board of Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO), I would like to sincerely thank you for your generosity and support.

This year, we really are sharing the joy in our communities.

This year has been one of the most interesting and challenging years of our seventy three year history. We know how hard it’s been for everyone, but we’re still here, thanks to you.

Your generosity has truly touched every member of the organisation. We understand how important you are to us and the Orchestra is to you.

Thank you for making QSO the organisation it is today. Please donate generously to help your State Orchestra, to continue to share the joy in our Queensland communities.

Help us be an Orchestra for the future.

“What a magnificent initiative. It confirms the exceptional musicianship of the QSO, while transforming the ideals of the festive season – peace and goodwill – into something really positive.”

The Governor of Queensland.
His Excellency the Honourable Paul De Jersey AC

"This year has reminded me that music takes us to places that words can’t. Without an audience there is no live performance, there is no connection and there is no magic. Returning to the stage for the first time was incredible, you could feel the energy on stage from the audience, the anticipation and the excitement."
